GibberGunyah, a comfortable ideal conference/ wedding venue with a difference.

We offer a truly special unique experience with natural bushlands and scenic views from all our shared rooms which can accommodate up to 78 guests. GibberGunyah will provide a cultural service for weddings, conferences and special events with indigenous foods and entertainment.

GibberGunyah is set on eighteen acres, nestled at the foot of the Southern Highlands, Picton.

At GibberGunyah you can choose to have your wedding ceremony, reception and accommodate guests all at the one venue. This makes your Wedding Day a weekend of spending time with those special friends and family.

We promote and protect the interest of people in Tharawal Local Aboriginal Land Council land areas.

Elders Respite Day Centre

Tharawal LALC runs a centre at Couridjah House specifically tailored to meet the needs of the Elders within the community. Elders are given a break from their homes to meet new people, relax and have an enjoyable time with friendly company.

The centre is open to any Aboriginal Elder who lives within Campbelltown, Camden, and Wollondilly or within Tharawal LALC boundaries and their carers. The centre also welcomes younger Aboriginals with a disability.

The centre is well furnished, decorated and comfortable, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The centre has plasma televisions, DVD player and CD Player. The centre offers outings to events, movie days, special guests and visits to the Wollondilly Leisure Centre. Morning tea and lunch is provided at no cost.

The Respite Centre is located at 220 West Parade, Couridjah. The centre offers activities every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am. Transport is available and can be booked by calling Tharawal LALC  via 02 4681 0059 or by e-mailing
